Religious Exemption From Physical Examinations

CT also recognizes the right to decline unnecessary medical treatment, including physical examinations. The law simply requires a letter from the parents.

*Please note- it is unlawful to withhold necessary medical treatment for your children, this statute ONLY applies to "routine" checkups, not sick care.
